Alyssa

from Pennsylvania

Alyssa is an artistic, honest, and hard-working teen girl. She tends to be a little guarded when meeting new people but will quickly open up once she feels comfortable. She enjoys listening to music, creating art, and sleeping. Alyssa is also a huge dog lover! Alyssa is always open to trying new foods and activities. She eventually would like to become a tattoo artist. Alyssa would thrive in a one- or two-parent household that is accepting of her and patient. She would like a family who is understanding of her lifestyle, dreams for the future, and someone she can have honest conversations with. Alyssa needs people in her life who will support her and help teach her life skills as she transitions into adulthood. A family who is more relaxed and likes to spend time together but also understands she likes her personal space would be a good fit for Alyssa. Alyssa would prefer to be an only child, but she is open to exploring other options. Due to Alyssa's age, termination of parental rights is not required for adoption to occur. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Erinn Doyle, via telephone or email edoyle@childrenschoice.org.
