Meet Mackenzie and Brendan!
Mackenzie is a kind-hearted and social pre-teen who loves spending time with others and trying new activities. Easy-going and full of laughter, she is happiest when included and making memories with the people around her. Whether she is coloring, completing word searches, playing board games, or heading outdoors for an adventure, Mackenzie brings a fun and positive energy wherever she goes. She enjoys playing sports, with volleyball being her favorite! Recently, she has also had a great time roller skating and going to the movies for the first time. Mackenzie would be excited to share some of her favorite foods with her future family, including pizza and macaroni and cheese. Those who know her best describe her as funny, caring, respectful, and a joy to be around.
Brendan is a playful, energetic, and caring youth who keeps everyone smiling with his silly personality. Like his sister, Brendan is easy-going and enjoys staying active and engaging with others. He loves playing video games, but he is just as happy spending time outside playing sports and being on the move. Football is his favorite sport, and as a big Eagles fan, Brendan would love nothing more than cheering on his team while enjoying pizza, Takis, and pickle-flavored Hot Cheetos with his forever family. When asked to describe himself, Brendan proudly shared that he is nice, kind, and brave.
Together, Mackenzie and Brendan share a close sibling bond filled with laughter and love. They are looking for a forever family who will embrace their fun-loving personalities, create lasting memories with them, and provide the love, stability, and support they deserve. More than anything, Mackenzie and Brendan hope for a family who will keep them safe, encourage them, and help them feel truly at home and a part of a family. Mackenzie and Brendan would thrive in a family able to provide consistency, structure, patience, and unconditional care as they continue to grow and flourish.
Parental rights have not been terminated for Mackenzie and Brendan; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
