Meet Dalani! A teen wise beyond her years, who is always ready for a good self-care day filled with all her favorite vanilla and watermelon scented products! Dalani also finds peace and enjoyment with spending time outside. Her favorite outside hobbies are taking walks in parks, playing basketball, and playing kickball. When playing sports Dalani likes to keep a balance of being competitive and good sportsmanship! Dalani also has a love of Chinese food; her order will always include fried rice, crab rangoon, and egg rolls! When driving in the car with Dalani to get her Chinese food, she will always play Juice WRLD on the radio. Once she feels comfortable around you, you will even catch her singing along to the songs! Dalani can be shy at first but is quick to become comfortable around people. Dalani is known by those closest to her to be a fun and social person, who will occasionally try to pull a prank on you! Dalani has a love for all things spooky! She does not scare easily, in fact her favorite movies are horror movies, and you can catch her watching the Netflix show "Stranger Things" on repeat! Dalani is looking for a family that will be a constant in her life, who enjoys spending time together through eating meals and doing outdoor activities. Dalani would thrive in a home with a balance of structure and age-appropriate autonomy. She would love to be a part of a family where she could have siblings, preferably close to her age. Dalani would also like to be able to have her own space in the home, preferably her own room where she can feel comfortable and take ownership of a space. Dalani enjoys attending church services, she finds a comfort and peace in them. A family who attends church or is supportive in exploration of attending is preferred. Parental rights have not been terminated for Dalani; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
