Devon from Pennsylvania

Calling all video game and anime fans! Meet Devon, a silly and lighthearted teen with the ability to master just about any PlayStation game he tries. When he's not gaming, Devon can be found listening to AJR (his favorite band) or watching anime and one of his favorite shows, "Adventure Time." If you're lucky, Devon may even draw a picture of Finn the Human for you, as he has a hidden talent for visual arts! Devon is also a sports fan, and while his favorite teams sometimes vary, he has a soft spot for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He would love to join a team and work on his own football skills sometime! Devon may be quiet at first, but after getting to know him, you and Devon will lose track of time playing games and telling jokes that turn into long stories. Be aware that you may have to stay with Devon until he beats you in a game of UNO, so he can be the ultimate champion! One-on-one time is super important to Devon, made only better with some of his favorite snacks, like McDonalds fries, Dunkin refreshers, and Chips Ahoy cookies (especially the mini chewy ones, as they're obviously the best!). Devon has made connections with supportive adults and is eager to meet a family who will provide him with parental figures to be his support system through thick and thin. A family for Devon should be comfortable with witty banter and picking on each other, which is how you know that he is comfortable with you! Devon thrives in an environment with structure, and would love to have caregivers to show him the ropes of entering adulthood. He'd love to join a family on trips both within and outside of their community, like road trips or camping - Anywhere that he can try new things and enjoy quality time together! Parental rights have not been terminated for Devon; however, once a permanency resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
