Devon from Pennsylvania

Are you a fan of spending your evenings playing video games while munching on some McDonald's burgers and fries for dinner? How about a weekend spent outside playing basketball, football, or soccer in the backyard while listening to AJR (the best band ever)? If so, Devon would love to invite you to a hang out! Devon is an imaginative and charming young man with a contagious smile and a goofy sense of humor. He's the type of guy that time flies by with as you tell silly stories and debate the best anime shows. Don't worry though, if you're not an anime super-fan like Devon, he's happy to make recommendations for beginners that he also likes, including "Naruto" and "My Hero Academia." He's also happy to recommend some other shows, like "Adventure Time," or even sit down to watch a football game together, especially if it's the Eagles (or whichever team is doing best at the moment!). Devon has some secret talents too, including singing and visual arts. While he may not show you right away, spend enough time with Devon and he may show you some of his drawings or make a sculpture with you. He loves doing things with his hands to keep busy and create something awesome. However, there is one activity that Devon loves best: beating his opponents in a game of Uno! If you challenge Devon to a game, be prepared to have some trash-talking and stick around long enough for Devon to win at least one game...or at least try his best to do so! Devon can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but it doesn't take much to get him to open up and be all smiles and laughs. He is excited to join a family who will be a support system to him through the ups and downs of early adulthood, especially one that is ready for witty banter and open to picking on each other a bit, which is how you know that he's most comfortable with you. He'd love to have someone to go to for advice on career goals and help him explore interests for the future, such as becoming an auto technician. Devon thrives on consistency, structure, and most of all, one-on-one time with people who see him for the incredible person he is. He'd be happy to spend this quality time together at home, or maybe even on trips out and about, like road trips or vacations to make lasting memories together. Parental rights have not been terminated for Devon; however, once a permanency resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
