Duncan from Pennsylvania

"Will You Be There" for Duncan? If you need a helping hand, energetic Duncan is always there! His teachers are quick to report he is a "big helper" as he completes tasks and enjoys being on "cafeteria duty" at his school, where he wipes down tables and takes out the trash. Duncan also loves to cook and takes great pleasure in tasting his culinary creations. Some of his favorite foods include Kraft macaroni and cheese, plain potato chips (they must be ruffled!), chocolate Pop-Tarts, and American cheese (it must be orange!). In the warmer seasons, you'll often find Duncan swimming as he loves being active. He's a strong teenager who loves going on outdoor walks, closely observing his surroundings, and enjoys listening and dancing to his favorite song by Michael Jackson, "Will You Be There?" At school, Duncan excels when he has consistency throughout the day, as he is good at following a schedule. He's working hard in English and math, gesturing to those around him when he needs help. He has a bin by his desk with puzzle pieces, paper, books, and blocks that he can fidget with during class. He likes to sort and organize, often reorganizing his school supplies for fun. Duncan has strong ties to his birth family, and it's important that he can maintain these relationships in the future. Parental rights have not been terminated for Duncan.
