Gabriella from Pennsylvania

Gabriella is a kind, gentle, and creative young woman who loves animals, especially dogs, cats, and parrots. She hopes that her forever family will either let her have a pet of her own or already have pets in the home. She enjoys creating art, visiting new places, going shopping at stores like Five Below, and spending her free time using her favorite phone applications or being social. While she can be more reserved, her caseworker describes her as caring, creative, and compassionate. Like most teens, she loves to hang out with her friends and laugh. Gabriella has said that she feels it is important for her future family to know that she can be a picky eater. Her favorite foods include pizza, cheesesteaks, pierogi, General Tso's chicken, and chicken and broccoli, and she hopes these foods will be staple items on a future family's menu. Despite her particular tastes and food preferences, she has an interest in culinary arts and enjoys cooking and baking. Gabriella has expressed an interest in one day becoming a baker or professional cartoon animator. She looks forward to joining a family that would support her exploration of food. Gabriella is open to living in either a single-parent or two-parent home, but she has expressed that she would really like to have a relatable and understanding mother figure in her life. She has also said that she would like to be an only child; however, her team continues to discuss this with her, and families with other children still may be considered if they can provide her with the individual attention that she desires. Gabriella has a sister who lives in southeastern Pennsylvania. The sisters do visit each other occasionally, and Gabriella would like for this relationship and these in-person visits to continue. Any family who is willing to provide permanency for Gabriella should be open to the idea of some continued contact. Parental rights have been terminated for Gabriella.
