Ishayla from Pennsylvania

Ishayla is a friendly, hardworking, and assertive young woman. She is practical and ambitious as she works hard to set herself up for a stable future. She enjoys styling her and her sister's hair, scrolling online, and reading. Ishayla typically likes to read all types of genres except for graphic novels. She also loves watching "Siren," which is a mythological tale of mermaids in Bristol Cove, featuring a battle for survival between humans and predators from the sea. She is a water person, and her favorite animals are dolphins and black panthers. She loves animals and discussed wanting to become a marine biologist one day. She has also explored becoming a veterinary tech, though she is leaning more towards becoming an ultrasound tech. She has an incredibly kind heart, as she even helped her grandfather start a nonprofit community initiative to distribute food to those who need it. She does maintain positive birth family connections and is looking for support and permanent adult connections as she ventures into adulthood! She has a very close relationship especially with her grandfather, with whom she visits frequently in southeastern PA. She is hoping to find adults to support and nurture this relationship and help her grow into an independent young adult.
