James from Pennsylvania

James is an extremely active child who always likes having something to do. He is very observant and communicates directly. James is highly aware of his surroundings and any changes to them. He has a strong preference for familiar routines and comforts, and he enjoys simple pleasures like a bowl of Cap'n' Crunch cereal or a bag of salt and vinegar chips--two of his favorite snacks. These comforts can be helpful tools in building trust and connection. James enjoys hands-on activities and thrives when engaged in tasks that allow him to build, explore, and use his imagination. He especially enjoys working with LEGO sets and playing with Matchbox cars, science, and insects. James also enjoys reading books, anything about science or bugs. These activities help him focus and provide a healthy outlet for his creativity and curiosity. James requires a placement where he can receive one-on-one attention in a calm, structured environment without other children or animals. With the right support and environment, James has the potential to develop his strengths and continue growing the skills he needs to succeed emotionally, socially, and academically.
