Jaylynn is a funny, kind, outgoing young lady who is also the definition of resilient. Whether it is her love for sports, or her tenacity, Jaylynn knows how essential it is to get back up when life knocks her down. Whenever she has not been able to keep something she wanted, Jaylynn simply says, "There are plenty of other fish in the sea." Jaylynn loves to play basketball, football, and run track. Sports have also taught her the value of teamwork. She firmly believes, "If one of us loses, we all lose together." Some of her favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers. One thrill she would like to try is riding a roller coaster. Jaylynn believes this will help her overcome her fear of heights. A quieter and potentially relaxing activity Jaylynn would also like to try is bike riding. Jaylynn would love to find someone who will teach her how to ride a bike. Another activity she likes to do is read. If she could go anywhere to spend the day reading, Jaylynn would find a quaint coffee house, grab a latte with white foam, find the comfiest stool, and dive into the land of mystery and romance. Before she engages in her favorite activities, Jaylynn knows how important it is to get her schoolwork done first. If her homework involves assignments in her history class, Jaylynn will conquer those first because that is her favorite subject. When Jaylynn comes home with an outstanding report card, she will suggest that a celebration is in order, and that celebration would include a steak dinner at Hoss's, complete with the salad bar. If Hoss's is busy, Jaylynn will settle for Eat 'n Park. Just don't take her anywhere that serves sausage gravy or scrapple because Jaylynn does not care for what she would refer to as "mystery meat." In her spare time, Jaylynn likes to go for walks, watch television, and hang out with friends. Believe it or not, one of her favorite TV shows is the 1980s sitcom, "227." Jaylynn has learned how to advocate for herself and use her voice when it comes to what she wants and what she needs. Parental rights have been terminated for Jaylynn.
