Lilly

from Pennsylvania

Lilly is a sweet, personable teen of Puerto Rican and Spanish descent with curly brown hair and a great smile! Lilly is a friendly, enthusiastic, passionate teenager that "likes to eat," "loves animals" and "wants to be a veterinarian." She has lots of interests, such as drawing, cooking, baking, playing with animals, reading, journaling, self-care days, and traveling. Her favorite books are the Heartstopper, After, and Twilight series. "After" and "Twilight" also happen to be her favorite movies. She likes cooking mashed potatoes and noodles, especially spaghetti and linguine. Lilly's favorite colors are baby blue, black, and silver. When asked what she wants families to know about her, Lilly said "I really love animals. I really love kids. I really love food." Lilly is looking for a home that believes in trust, honesty, and respect. She believes these things go both ways and hopes to receive as much trust, honesty and respect from her caregivers as she gives to them. She wants any potential resource to know that she likes her independence and prefers to be given choices, rather than told what to do, as she usually makes the "right choice" anyway. Lilly is looking for a family with pets for her to play with, that enjoys decorating for holidays, and will take her to water or amusement parks. Lilly would also love a home with other children and has her heart set on pets! Lilly wants to go on picnics and have movie nights with her future family. She says that she is excited to hang out with the human members of a family, but they might take a backseat to any pets in the home. Due to Lilly's age, termination of parental rights is not required for adoption to occur. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Ella Warburton, via telephone or email ellawarburton@bethany.org.
