Makenzie from Pennsylvania

Meet Makenzie--a funny, caring, and spirited teen girl whose contagious laugh can light up a room. Makenzie can often be found making videos and cracking jokes with her friends online, or nose deep in some of her many creative interests such as drawing, writing, and crocheting. Like most teenagers, Makenzie loves all kinds of music and media. Her favorite genre of music right now is country, and "How to Train Your Dragon," "Stranger Things," and "Inside Out" are some of her favorite shows/movies. She also really enjoys learning and being active. Math is her favorite subject (she says numbers just make sense to her), and she's planning on trying out for the volleyball team at school this year! Last but not least, she loves animals of all kinds and would like to be in a home with furry, feathered, or scaly friends! Makenzie is often described as being very loyal and protective of people she loves and cares about. This is especially true for her sisters. Makenzie has two sisters she is still very close to who she would like to maintain contact with, and she has many other sisters who she hopes to maybe reconnect with one day. Makenzie does not have many connections to supportive birth family outside of her sisters. Parental rights have not been terminated for Makenzie; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
