Matthew from Pennsylvania

Matthew, is a gentle and sweet teenager. He is quiet and can be shy at first, yet he can also be an affectionate person (especially around others who he knows well). He does like to receive attention from others and likes to be around other people. He is independent and loves to learn; he does well in his current school program! Matthew is into "old school" R&B music, but loves any kind of music. He enjoys watching TV and loves to watch the antics of "SpongeBob." Matthew is an animal lover and gets along well with other kids. Matthew is looking for someone who would love him and help him get ready to transition into adulthood. Matthew currently has once a month in-person visits with mother and father in southeastern Pennsylvania. These visits may or may not continue after a family is identified, so any family open to providing permanency must be willing to maintain these visits. He also has sporadic FaceTime/phone calls with his parents outside of those visits. Due to Matthew's age, termination of parental rights is not required for adoption to occur.
