Sophia from Pennsylvania

Sophia is an adorable, bright-eyed toddler who communicates through sounds that people refer to as "singing." She loves to listen to music, watch movies and television with her friends. She just loves "piano night," which is held weekly at her current placement. She enjoys art activities with the assistance of hand-over-hand guidance, especially marshmallow painting! Sophia also loves to be read to, and her favorite books are the "Clifford the Big Red Dog" series. She also enjoys being on her play mat and working to strengthen and stretch her muscles. A family must be willing to participate in training to understand and care for her needs and be open to nursing care that Sophia is eligible for in a home setting. Sophia maintains connections with family members that should be maintained. Parental rights have not been terminated for Sophia; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
