from Pennsylvania

Meet Tashandra, a hopeful and resilient teen who's as quick as her wit. She's got an infectious sense of humor, loves to joke around, and is always ready with a sarcastic remark or coming up with clever jokes that catch everyone off guard. Tashandra's personality shines through everything she does, from her schoolwork to her downtime, and she keeps it real with the slang that's popular for teens her age. Despite the challenges she's faced, Tashandra remains hopeful and resilient. Tashandra excels in school and takes pride in her academic achievements. She has already accomplished so much--like earning Student of the Month for her outstanding academic work. She is excelling in all her classes and passionate about continuing her education virtually, which allows her to focus and thrive in a way that works best for her. Tashandra is on a mission to make a difference, dreaming of becoming a travel nurse so she can help others while exploring new places. But it's not just her ambition that makes Tashandra special; she's full of life and energy. Tashandra has a healthy appetite for tasty food and life's opportunities and is excited about finding her first part-time job to gain independence. She also knows how to take care of herself emotionally, whether by going for calming walks, spending time alone in her room, listening to her favorite R&B songs or chatting with her sister, her closest confidante. Meet Tori, a teenager who has a contagious personality that spills into conversations, laughter, and spontaneous ideas. She's bubbly, quick-witted, big-hearted and fully present with the people she trusts. Her quietness at first isn't shyness -- it's awareness. Her outgoing side isn't forced or loud for the sake of attention; it's about connection for her. She wants the people around her to feel included, seen, and safe. Her energy lifts others up, but only once she's sure the space allows her to be herself. Tori is a determined and self-motivated student who takes genuine pride in her academic achievements. She is currently excelling in her classes and is passionate about continuing her education virtually, which allows her to focus and thrive in a way that works best for her. Tori receives straight A's with a course load full of honors and advanced subjects. She isn't just focused on grades; she truly enjoys learning, thrives on challenge, and holds herself to high standards in everything she does. Tori puts in the time, energy, and focus to do her best as she desires to continue her education beyond high school. Tori is excited about finding her first part-time job to gain independence. Family, privacy, trust, and honesty are incredibly important to Tashandra and Tori. They long to be a part of a family where these values are shared and where they can build lasting relationships. They desire a home where they can be safe and supported by people who respect their need for space. They both care deeply about flavorsome food, and hope to find a family who shares that value. The girls love animals and would enjoy having other children in the home or pets. They are looking for a family who will encourage their ambitions, celebrate their milestones, share in their laughter, and offer them the stability and love they deserve. The sisters would love to live with a family who shares their culture and identity, as well as a family who can support their important relationships in the southeast region of PA. The girls have informal visits with one another and extended family members. Tashandra and Tori would like to maintain contact with their immediate and extended family members, who all hold special places in their hearts. If you can provide these girls with a nurturing home, you'll not only hear Tashandra's infectious laughter but also witness both teens grow into the bright, creative, and compassionate young ladies they are destined to be. Parental rights have not been terminated for Tashandra and Tori; however, once a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
