Pick wildflowers in a meadow with Victoria. Victoria is a cat-loving, engaging, artistic, and quiet teen whose primary language is Spanish. Her favorite music is bachata, with her favorite musical artists being Romeo Santos and Bad Bunny. Victoria sees her strengths as being "smart, positive, creative, and a warrior," and once she gets to you know you, she is quick to tell jokes and share her infectious laughter! She is creative and enjoys making beautiful flowers out of ribbon. You can often find her spending time with friends, sharing her favorite candy (Sour Patch Kids!), or going out to eat at Chick-fil-A or McDonald's. Victoria's favorite foods include hamburgers, strawberries, blueberries, mangos, and rice. She is not a fan of pickles on her burgers, though! She is quite the cook and enjoys making Spanish foods and healthy cooking. She enjoys shopping and buying clothes at the mall, especially anything purple, which is her favorite color. Victoria also likes to connect with her friends online and connect over anime, specifically "Dragon Ball Z." Victoria attends high school and her teachers say she's a pleasure to have in class. She is a very hard worker and enjoys being gainfully employed and saving money. If Victoria had $1,000,000, she would save it to earn more, buy a small car, and a house. She says "Saving money is more important than spending it!" She sees herself as a strong teenager who has gone through a lot and who is very resilient. She has many goals for her future and is motivated to achieve them with the help of others. Victoria has a patient, kind, and calm personality. These are all traits which will serve her well in the future as she reaches her goal to become an emergency room doctor. Victoria is open to all types of families - especially a family with cats! Spanish-speaking families are preferred; Victoria is also open to an English-speaking family, too, who could help her reach her dream of learning to speak English. Victoria also has strong connections to her family which should continue in the future. She would bring great joy to a family who can offer her the support she needs to succeed in reaching her goals and making her dreams a reality! Parental rights have not been terminated for Victoria; however, once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact steps to terminate parental rights. For more information, a family can call the SWAN Helpline at 1-800-585-SWAN or have the family worker contact the recruiter, Elisa Esh, via telephone or email eesh@pachild.org.
