Meet Zara, Demar, and Brielle!
Zara is the oldest of the three siblings. She is a quiet, creative teenage girl who loves the TV show "Stranger Things" and the Christmas holiday. She is respectful, kind, and overall easy to get along with. Zara says that she likes helping those around her and is proud of the fact that she is "a very good friend." In her free time, Zara enjoys coloring, making beaded bracelets, playing online platform games, and spending time on her tablet. Zara really excels at arts and crafts, specifically making bracelets. In fact, she spent time turning this talent into a business by selling some of her bracelet creations. Zara gets along well with other youth her age, but she also values her alone time. Although she has a tendency to be quiet, Zara also loves to sing and perform. She likes to listen to rap music and her favorite book series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Zara's favorite place that she has ever visited is the beach. If she could choose to go anywhere in the world, she would want to go to Disney World for the first time. In the future, Zara would like to pursue a career in cosmetology, specifically as a hair stylist. Zara acknowledges that she has difficulty opening up to others when she has a bad day, so she would do well in a family that recognizes this about her and has patience with her. Zara is looking for a foster-to-adopt home that will allow her to be placed with her siblings.
Demar is the middle child of the three siblings. He is an intelligent, loveable, and strong-willed boy with short curly black hair and dimples when he smiles. He is very tall for his age and often is mistaken for an older individual as a result. Demar describes himself as "funny," "hard-headed," and good at "accidental injuries," meaning that he can be a bit clumsy. Demar is also proud of his ability to think on his feet and tell stories. Demar doesn't watch much television, but when he does watch TV, he enjoys the show "Young Sheldon." His favorite time of year is spring. Specifically, he loves the month of May since that is when his birthday falls. In his free time, Demar loves going roller skating at a local roller rink. Demar's favorite kind of music is rap music, and he reports that he is not a fan of "any song written before 2013," because they "don't have the right vibes." When asked where he would go if he could travel anywhere in the world, Demar said that he was unable to narrow it down and would like to travel the entire world in his lifetime. Demar is not sure what career he wants to pursue as an adult. He says that, if all jobs in the world were paid the same wage, he would choose to be a McDonald's employee. Demar is looking for a foster-to-adopt home that will allow him to be placed with his siblings.
Brielle is the youngest of the three children. She is an incredibly intelligent and friendly girl with a passion for anything related to crafting. She is proud of her ability to make others laugh and how she gives people close to her another point of view when they are about to give up on something. She likes being outside, even if it's to help with yard work. When asked what she is good at, Brielle reported that most of her talents are related to crafting. For example, she likes to make "blind bags" for people. These are themed bags that contain homemade squishies or miniature stationary sets. When she is not crafting, she enjoys watching "Stranger Things." Brielle says that her favorite "Stranger Things" character is Will because he was a "normal kid that ends up with powers." Brielle liked watching Will adapt to the way things around him had drastically changed. Brielle also enjoys reading, especially the Encyclopedia Brown series and other mystery books. Brielle's favorite subject in school is Language Arts because she likes to learn new words that will help her express how she feels. When she is older, Brielle wants to have a job related to DIY or engineering. She wants to invent "new things that could help people." Brielle is looking for a foster-to-adopt home that will allow her to be placed with her siblings.
Parental rights have not been terminated for Zara, Demar, and Brielle.
