Carla from Texas

Carla is an animated teen with a great sense of humor and a big heart. She loves to laugh and often shares amusing anecdotes. Passionate about animals, she volunteers at a rescue care farm, where she interacts with cats, goats, bunnies, and chickens. Carla loves being outdoors, especially swimming, and could spend hours splashing in the pool. This summer, she'll attend a conservation camp to learn about caring for the environment--her first camp experience, and she relishes the normalcy of it. Gentle and protective with her furry friends, Carla also likes to help and support others. She is social, strives for meaningful relationships, and has a strong sense of justice, quickly standing up for others. Carla confidently advocates for her needs and takes pride in her achievements. Eager for adolescent activities, she's looking forward to driver's education and a part-time job, preferably with animals. In the meantime, she is earning money by selling name placards she learned to make in Manufacturing class--she already has seven orders!
