Justin from Texas

Justin, who prefers to be called JJ, is a bright and joyful child with a wonderful sense of humor. He loves making others laugh and has a natural ability to bring happiness to everyone around him. JJ truly enjoys school and is especially proud of his math skills--often happily bragging that he is the best at it. He approaches learning with confidence and enthusiasm. In his free time, JJ enjoys building creative structures with Legos and playing video games. He is also an avid reader who loves diving into fantasy stories, especially the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. JJ enjoys spending time outdoors, where he can play at the park, ride his bike or scooter, and visit skate parks. JJ is a Christian and finds comfort and joy in reading the Bible and attending church on Sundays. When it comes to food, he loves comfort meals like spaghetti, chicken Alfredo with broccoli, and chicken and dumplings, but he is also open to trying new foods.

JJ would thrive in a two-parent home with caregivers who are patient, nurturing, and trauma-informed. He benefits most from adults who are honest, consistent, and clear in communicating their expectations, as this helps him feel safe and supported. More than anything, JJ hopes to find his forever family--one that will offer stability, love, and understanding.
