Mayette from Texas

Mayette is a happy and energetic pre-teen girl. She is shy and an introvert; however, she talks freely once she is comfortable and develops trust. Mayette does extremely well in her academics and her favorite subject is Art. She is creative and loves arts and crafts as it helps her express her personality. Her craft comes to life with knitting and painting on canvases. Mayette's dream is to one day become a teacher. Mayette enjoys being around her siblings and enjoys family outings to church and going out to eat at different restaurants. She is part of her local church Sunday school and enjoys learning about her Catholic faith. She was very happy that she recently received her 1st Holy Communion. Mayette loves animals and once had a pet duck & chicken. Having pets brought out Mayette's nurturing and loving side as she really enjoyed caring for her pets.

April, Rafael, Mayette, and Jesse are a close and connected sibling group who share a strong bond and enjoy spending time together. Being together provides them with comfort, consistency, and a sense of belonging, and they benefit greatly from their shared experiences as siblings. As a group, they enjoy playing outdoors, running around together, and participating in active play. They also enjoy creative activities such as drawing, crafts, imaginative games, and playing with shared toys. Movie time, music, and recreational activities are favorites they often enjoy together. Within the sibling group, the older siblings naturally help guide and include the younger ones, while the younger siblings look up to and follow their lead. They interact positively, enjoy shared routines, and function well as a group by supporting one another during daily activities and play.

Mayette's ideal family is a two- parent household that can provide the attention she requires. Mayette would benefit from one-on-one interactions. Mayette will do well with a family that is able to provide a structured environment and routine schedule. A family that is patience and understanding. A family that will also encourage her interests.
