Michael is a busy, curious teen with a joyful spirit that leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. He is very much a people person and enjoys spending time with others, especially his caregivers and the people he loves. Michael is affectionate and enjoys showing those around him how much he cares. He is very active and loves going to the park, taking walks, and participating in a variety of activities with his caregivers. Michael also values his independence and enjoys being able to move around and explore his surroundings on his own. He loves school and is always eager to learn and discover new things. Michael is an explorer at heart and enjoys being inquisitive about the world around him. He is currently learning American Sign Language and loves showing others the new words and signs he has learned. He often expresses himself through smiles and shows excitement and interest during interactions and activities. Some of Michael's favorite foods include yogurt, pasta, and macaroni and cheese. In his spare time, he enjoys watching television and playing with his favorite toys.

Michael would do best in a home with two parents. His parents will need to meet his medical health and intellectual needs while providing him with lots of love and affection. Michael's family should understand he needs lifelong care but will also foster his independence and progress. Michael's family will be patient. Michael's forever family will allow him to participate in many activities outside the home and encourage him to continue to develop physically, emotionally, and intellectually. They will allow him the space to watch or be part of everyday activities. Michael will be a life-long commitment of joy and happiness.
