Kenyon from Texas

Kenyon is a happy and inquisitive teen. He looks forward to attending school each day and especially enjoys spending time with his teachers and classmates. Kenyon relies on a wheelchair for mobility, but this does not limit his awareness or engagement with the world around him. He is very perceptive and attentive to his surroundings. Kenyon communicates his wants and needs in a variety of meaningful ways, including smiling, reaching toward preferred items or people, and making vocal noises. He loves social interaction and responds warmly to familiar faces with smiles and laughter. Kenyon especially enjoys applesauce as a favorite treat. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, watching his favorite television shows, and spending time outdoors, where he can explore and enjoy his environment.

Kenyon will benefit from a family who has a background in understanding complex medical needs. His family should be loving, nurturing and attentive to his needs. Kenyon would do well in a two-parent home with other children as he thrives off the connection with household members. His family should also have or be able to obtain a vehicle that can accommodate his wheelchair.
